When it's faster to drive....

Well our crazy week without Shawn is almost to an end. He left last Sunday with a bang (and a puff of smoke from his car) and hopefully will be back home without one. As he was being driven to the airport this morning (at about 4:30 a.m.) and mentioned to his driver that he wouldn't land until about 4:30 p.m. his driver used GPS to figure out how long it would take to drive- about 11 hours. The round about way he's been flown is actually taking longer than if he had driven himself. This is especially disturbing b/c his conference actually ended early- at about 2 instead of 5 p.m.- He could have been home really late last night- or, by noon if they had stopped to sleep. Instead, we're hoping for about 4:30- we won't really know until the airline manages to find them a plane- currently there isn't one for them..............
