Sam

So we got the very first dog we looked at and we're happy with him so far. Lily got her chance to "name someone" and chose Sam. This was definitely her choice as Shawn and I were both pulling for Salem. Shawn more than me once the vet weighed him in at 66.6 pounds. Anyway, Sam is a great dog. Our only problem with him is that he did chase Ebay who now hides from him as much as possible. Still, we optimistic that they'll work it out.
Also, he is a bit spoiled. Notic the nice dog bed besides the chair he's sleeping in. While he does sleep on both, he really prefers the chair.

Yea welcome to pet ownership or is it people ownership. Parker owns us most of the time.

Piece of advice my friend. If you don't want him on your furniture put a stop to it NOW! This is one of those things that is hard to break a dog from doing!

I'm with Nessa on this one - and imagine when he keeps growing!

He is quiet adorable though. I want a dog to .. but no room!

We've let him sleep on the chair but he's not allowed on the couch and that's working for us. I was swaying to letting him curl up on the couch but Shawn firmly reminded me that there would be no way we could invite any of you to have a seat on our couch if we let the dog there so he just gets the chair. Stick to the couch when you come over. :)

Thanks for the warning! It's going to be like at Bonnie's...go visit, but DO NOT wear white! ;)

As long as you stay of the snuggle chair you'll be fine. He is not allowed on the couch. And, if the snuggle chair gets nasty it's gone to the chair heaven in the sky and he'll be back on the floor.....

Just get a small blanket to cover the couch before you let him up there.

And cover the chair with one.

Parker you and Sam are not people you are dogs and your color doesn't matter, we just don't want dogs on the furniture. People of every color who are either toilet trained or diapered are always allowed on the furniture.
Ranger isn't allowed on the furniture at his house either. Stop your griping or I'll let Sam over to pee on your shrubs this weekend!!!!
